April/October Every Friday night Cruisin Grand Cruisin’ Grand is honored to be called one of the best cruises in the country. We try to keep it simple, and focus only on what works with our community history, i.e. 1973 and earlier American-made Classics, Customs, Vintage, Muscle, and Hot Rods cruising Grand Ave, just like they did 50-60- years ago, on a Friday night, hopefully shoulder-to-shoulder with a date!
June/August La Mesa Classic Car Show – You can check out vintage cars and guests can enjoy shopping, dining and live music every Thursday night from June through August, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on La Mesa Boulevard. Wavecrest is the largest of all woodie meets. It is always held on the third Saturday of September each year in Encinitas, California
June/August Encinitas Car Nights, the streets of Downtown Encinitas will be rockin’ and rollin’ when Encinitas Classic Car Nights rolls back into town! The third Thursday of each summer month, from May through September, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, hot rods, foreign automobiles, classic cars and Woodies will line S. Coast Highway 101 from D Street to K Street. Classic cars will be parked along the Hwy 101 and on side streets.
September Fleet Week Sea & Air Parade This event is soaring back to San Diego with great fanfare as we prepare to experience the best of the U.S. military on display and in action with cruisers, amphibious ships, destroyers, frigates, submarines, and landing craft in addition to a demonstration of SEAL capabilities, Coast Guard Search and Rescue, a fly-over of contemporary Navy and World War II aircraft, and much more.

View the action all along the San Diego region waterfront, from the South Bay to Coronado, the Embarcadero, Harbor and Shelter Islands.

Ship tours, a STEM fair and many more static displays will be available and FREE to the public.

September San Diego Bay Fair, Mission Bay See the fastest boats in the world at Bayfair. Fans of extreme sports won’t want to miss the action as the drivers do battle at over 200 mph.
September Fleet Week Coronado Speed Festival (“The Race at the Base”) The annual Fleet Week Coronado Speed Festival (“The Race at the Base”) is celebrating its 19th year. Join thousands of race enthusiasts and fans in this premier motorsports event saluting our nation’s military.
September San Diego Festival of Beer This year’s Festival will return to  the Broadway Pier. The indoor/outdoor event will feature live music and nearly 60 different breweries serving up 120 varieties of tasty brews.
September Poway Rodeo
September Oceanside Harbor Day On September 24-25, 2016 the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce along with Tri-City Medical Center and Genentech will present Oceanside Harbor Days at the Oceanside Harbor. The event will feature arts and craft exhibits, great food and fun activities for the entire family. The event is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
September Miramar Air Show
October 1 Fleet Week Cabrillo festival, music, dancing, children’s activities and foods of Native Americans, Mexico, Portugal and Spain. There will be Kumeyaay basket making, knot tying and a 16th Century Spanish soldiers living history encampment. Re-enactment of Cabrillo’s landing on Ballast Point begins at 1:00 PM

 November San Diego Jazz Fest Discerning jazz fans call the San Diego Jazz Festival “the crown jewel of jazz festivals.” The event is held during the Thanksgiving weekend at the Town & Country Resort and Convention Center, in San Diego.

December Pearl Harbor Day Troop Train/Los Angeles, CA Help us salute our Guests of Honor, the brave Veterans who were there when Pearl Harbor erupted in flames, on December 7th, 1941. December Christmas at the Mission/San Juan Capistrano, CA Celebrate the holidays with Mission San Juan Capistrano! Held in conjunction with the City of San Juan Capistrano’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and community-wide holiday celebration
December December Nights (Balboa Park) Balboa Park December Nights, the nation’s premier holiday festival, will take place for the 39th consecutive year on Friday, December 2 from 3-11pm and Saturday, December, 3 from noon-11pm. Friends, families and the community are invited to come together for festive fun, food and attractions throughout the park, including complimentary admission to Balboa Park museums from 5-9pm. The largest free community festival in San Diego, December Nights is expected to attract more than 350,000 visitors to the park over two days to revel and enjoy the season.
