Every Friday night Cruisin Grand Cruisin’ Grand is honored to be called one of the best cruises in the country. We try to keep it simple, and focus only on what works with our community history, i.e. 1973 and earlier American-made Classics, Customs, Vintage, Muscle, and Hot Rods cruising Grand Ave, just like they did 50-60- years ago, on a Friday night, hopefully shoulder-to-shoulder with a date!
September 10 Fleet Week Sea & Air Parade This event is soaring back to San Diego with great fanfare as we prepare to experience the best of the U.S. military on display and in action with cruisers, amphibious ships, destroyers, frigates, submarines, and landing craft in addition to a demonstration of SEAL capabilities, Coast Guard Search and Rescue, a fly-over of contemporary Navy and World War II aircraft, and much more.

View the action all along the San Diego region waterfront, from the South Bay to Coronado, the Embarcadero, Harbor and Shelter Islands.

Ship tours, a STEM fair and many more static displays will be available and FREE to the public.

September 15-18 Wavecrest 2016, Encinitas Wavecrest is the largest of all woodie meets. It is always held on the third Saturday of September each year in Encinitas, California
September 16-18 San Diego Bay Fair, Mission Bay See the fastest boats in the world at Bayfair. Fans of extreme sports won’t want to miss the action as the drivers do battle at over 200 mph.
September 16-18 NMCA West Street Car Nationals The 5th Annual NMCA WEST Street Car Nationals will run September 16-18, 2016. Racers from across the West Coast will converge on the legendary drag strip in hopes of taking home a custom event winner awards. Competitors in 11 classes, including the six-second 240+ mph Pro Mod cars, will chase points toward a year-end prize and the title of World Champion.
September 16-18 Sands Sports Super Show, Costa Mesa
September 17 Hot 100 Poker Cruz Show and Roll, Antelope Valley This high desert annual event is on the third Saturday in September every year, music street fair is the biggest day of the year for local residents & tourists alike. Historic sights, donkeys, horses, cowboys, live music, food & all the fun you can imagine in the middle of nowhere. One day only!

September 17 and 18 Fleet Week Coronado Speed Festival (“The Race at the Base”) The annual Fleet Week Coronado Speed Festival (“The Race at the Base”) is celebrating its 19th year. Join thousands of race enthusiasts and fans in this premier motorsports event saluting our nation’s military.
September 23 San Diego Festival of Beer This year’s Festival will return to  the Broadway Pier. The indoor/outdoor event will feature live music and nearly 60 different breweries serving up 120 varieties of tasty brews.

September 24/25 Oceanside Harbor Day On September 24-25, 2016 the Oceanside Chamber of Commerce along with Tri-City Medical Center and Genentech will present Oceanside Harbor Days at the Oceanside Harbor. The event will feature arts and craft exhibits, great food and fun activities for the entire family. The event is open from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.

There will be Kumeyaay basket making, knot tying and a 16th Century Spanish soldiers living history encampment. Re-enactment of Cabrillo’s landing on Ballast Point begins at 1:00 PM

December 3 Christmas at the Mission/San Juan Capistrano, CA Celebrate the holidays with Mission San Juan Capistrano! Held in conjunction with the City of San Juan Capistrano’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and community-wide holiday celebration
December 2/3 December Nights (Balboa Park) Balboa Park December Nights, the nation’s premier holiday festival, will take place for the 39th consecutive year on Friday, December 2 from 3-11pm and Saturday, December, 3 from noon-11pm. Friends, families and the community are invited to come together for festive fun, food and attractions throughout the park, including complimentary admission to Balboa Park museums from 5-9pm. The largest free community festival in San Diego, December Nights is expected to attract more than 350,000 visitors to the park over two days to revel and enjoy the season.
